Tips for Protecting Your Baby in the Winter

Winters are very cruel for babies, especially under 5 years. Mothers become more caring than usual. why babies get ill in winter? There are a few points we will discuss:

1) Chest Cover:

Usually, mothers cover the babies from head to toe, which is not really good. because this may increase the baby's body temperature and may lead to baby high temperature .so make sure you cover the baby's chest with a good warm cloth. this will protect your baby from cold.

2 ) Foot Cover:

The most important body part which is most susceptible to cold is feet. Don’t let your baby walk barefooted, because this may lead the baby to fever and cold.so keep babywearing socks all time.

3) Hygiene Care:

This is the must to do work for mothers. Make sure that your baby is in a hygienic atmosphere and the food you are feeding is neat and clean because by doing this the baby will be away from the germs and the chances of getting ill will be fewer. Baby clothes must be neat and washed properly.

4) Warm Water:

The feeder should be boiled before use and the boiling should be for 5 mins and remain the feeders in the boiled water for more 5 mins and  make sure you keep the feeders in hygienic place. The temperature of the milk should be Lukewarm .the temp should be minimal.

5) Pamper Changing:

Keep in mind your baby may be more susceptible to germs and ultimate rashes and many more health issues due to wet and dirty pamper. So keep eyes on pampers and change them on time. when you see that its time to change. Keep the baby bum dry.

6) Rash problem:

Wash your baby with running water not with wipes when you are at home because wipes are only for the traveling purpose. Don’t use them at home. And if the poop is not washed immediately the rash problem may occur. So be careful the baby's skin is very sensitive. Use rash creams or dry cornflour after washing the baby. This will be a very effective remedy in curing the rashes. Use cornflour powder instead of baby powders before napping.

I hope these tips will work for you as well.
