Heating tools damage hair?

Do you think the heating tools damage hair?while you don't feel any pain in your hairs like if our skin is exposed to heat you will feel the intense pain and will avoid that in future. Feeling of pain is the reason you avoid but if our hair have this sense you would probably avoid that. As our hair are made up of proteins and keratin as a main ingredient so the heat can easily damage it and the cuticles may be damaged through this .If the cuticle is damaged the moisture and oil of the hair to the next inner layer will lose , which results in the brittle and frizzy dry hair. Another most important beauty part of our hair is elasticity which in long run will diminish for sure.
So the main purpose to write this blog is to help you protect your hair because if once your hair are damaged through heating tools is not reversible whatever you do.
PRECAUTIONS:
- SELECT THE HEATING TOOLS WITH ADJUSTABLE THERMAL SCALE: Yes, this is very important that you choose the flat iron, blow dry or curling heat tools with adjustable heating scale.so that you can adjust the heat for your hair which suits you best.AS thin hair are weak enough to be damaged at high heating thermos than thick hair.so keep the thermostat low if your hair are thin .if you have thick curly hair you can choose high thermostat.

- TYPE OF FLAT IRON: You must use Ceramic plated straighteners for your hair. The ceramic plating will ensure you the less damage to your hair than others.Now the steam irons are also becoming popular because they are far more beneficial than those ceramics plated iron .the steam in those flat iron will help to lock the moisture of your hair.these irons are Teflon Coated Irons.
- WET HAIR: Don't straight your hair while they are wet. because the water content will boil at that high temp and will damage your hair badly. So wait until your hair are completely dry.Don't apply heat protecting agents on the wet hair
- SERUMS,CREAMS,CONDITIONERS,HEAT PROTECTANT SHAMPOOS, SPRAY: Don't expose your hair to the heat unless and until you have applied the heat protectant serums,creams or sprays and be sure to wash your hair with the same brand of conditioner and shampoo which is also heat protectant. If you feel easy then do apply coconut oil..
- HAIR CHEMICALS: Must avoid excessive heating to hair if you have dyed your hair, hair streaks of=r any kind of chemical your hair have. Your hair will lose the elasticity.
- TIMING: The timing of heating your hair.Don't strock more than two times on your single strand of your hair.this will definitely damage your hair.The best way to iron hair is to take thin strand of hair so that the timing will be perfect.
- KERATIN SHAMPOO: Do use keratin shampoo to ensure the availability of keratin from other sources.
- ALOE VERA GEL: If you don't have serums or other heat protectants then you may use aloe vera gel.then you must have the steam iron.take small strand apply small quantity of aloe gel and iron it .it will not damage your hair if you are a regular user of heating tools.
- HAIR ROOTS: Keep the distance from the roots while you are ironing or curling your hair. At least an inch from roots.other wise you will burn your scalp and obviously the roots will become weak and you will have hair fall.
DISTANCE: When you are blow drying your hair then the distance should be of four fingers at least and keep it in one direction and don't comb your hair vigorously while heating your hair.
